Dejure is an exciting legal event where participants can showcase their knowledge of law and legal procedures. This event promises to challenge and inspire aspiring lawyers and legal enthusiasts.
Rules
Electronic gadgets are NOT allowed in Round 1. Usage of electronic gadgets will result in immediate disqualification.
Each team must bring ONE laptop for Round 2.
Parliamentary language is encouraged, and use of harsh words will result in reduction of points.
The Judges are to receive the utmost respect, and insulting them leads to reduction of points.
Cross talks among participants during any of the rounds are NOT permitted, which will otherwise result in reduction of points.
Participants are required to be in formals during all rounds.
Participants must conduct themselves in a dignified manner and not disrupt the flow of any of the rounds.
Malpractices of any kind will lead to immediate disqualification.
Event outline
Students can participate both individually or as a duo.
There will be three rounds: Round 1 and Round 2 will be held on the first day, and Round 3 will be held on the second day.
All the rounds will take place in the AV Room.
Materials will be handed out to the participants to prepare for the grand finale of De Jure.
All study materials will be provided by the judges, who will handpick important information suitable for the rounds based on the merit of the participants.
